i have been through so much stress in 1 week.
but i am still alive albeit being badly drained.

but i refuse to give up, not after all i have been through

but in this week i have learnt so much.

1. how it makes your day, when a total stranger and
their parents accomodate your timing your request
depsite it being out of the way for them because
they understand that you're having exams.

2. how it makes your day when whatever terms
you try to put out is being accomodated by
an overseas company even if you halved
their minimum order quantity by 75% because
they are willing to be understanding.

3. how it makes your day when you make new
friends because we help each other out.

4. how it makes your day when people thankyou
sincerely because you go out of your way to
meet them at no extra charge,even though you dont really have to.

this world is still beautiful.

but i really have to thank my

but i've always seen it as something

i usually keep quiet. i try hard to keep

but it's really different for boyfriend and family

somehow to a large extent my temper is inherited from
my dad ,but that's not an excuse for me to be spoilt.

i once told myself that i will never

stand my temper or has a bad temper.

UNLESS he has a milder temper as compared
to me OR he is always willing to give in to me.
if not,dont even start anything because both
parties will always end up fighting.

honestly,i think im too stubborn for my own good.

but there are some things that once i set my heart
on doing, no matter how tough the going gets,
i will never let it go and i will perservere.

even if it means being so busy, being so suffocated
and only getting 3-4hours of sleep every night,
i wouldnt mind.

everyone's been telling me. studies ought to be
your priority but i have never in my entire
life placed studies as my priority purely because
i do not see academic results as a ticket to success.

your results get you an interview,it gives you a starting
point but IT WILL NOT gurantee you a job, a rice
bowl, a stable life.

im not saying quit school and get a job. im saying, balance
your time get a job and do averagely well in school.whats
the point of topping the entire nation but you dont have life
skills when you're left in the society you crumble and die.

to be successful in life you not only need education, you need
wits, you need opportunities, you need luck, you need guidance
and mostly importantly you need people with you if not the climb
is going to be a tough one with. literally "its ME and ME, up against
the world"

and i am not going to put my entire bet on an education.
simply because i believe there is more to life than studying.
but it doesnt mean im going to give up studying.

even though sometimes its really heavy considering we have so many

telling me "See you" instead of bye every time we hang up on the phone
because i once said i really hated goodbyes.

how you would never fail to send me a three page long goodnight message
every night before you sleep even if you arent in sg.

how you made me milo almost every night in case i felt cold and needed
something warm to drink.

your thoughtfulness warms me up every single day. have i told you, i find it
really cool how we can talk about everything under the sun and get weird
stares from people because people our age are too young to be talking about
finances. And plus how we can take turns reading the same book in say 30
minutes intervals.

i really am starting to hate school 9-5
on most days is fuckedup.

i've gone back to reading and i really

2010 has been a whole year of changes for me.
juggling school work and like 2 jobs throughout the
year and also achieving my personal goal :D HEE

its been a year with the most changes in my life.
i got my hair dyed twice,got a new phone,
went into a new school,met lotsa new friends and
yada yada the list goes on. lost some people,gained
some people but im glad all those i thought i lost,
we're still in contact now :)

but im really really thankful so many lovelies have

i think this helps me get out of alot of trouble.being soft hearted

i know i havent been updating this space
in a long long time but i've been so preoccupied
with work.

about a week ago,school started so im juggling
both school and work on top of my other
commitments like kidread cca and dates out
with my girlfriends and such.

im surviving well though. because the worst
has already passed. it'd be more relaxed for the
next 3 weeks before everything starts getting
hectic all over again because then it'd be time
to start mugging hardcore for common test.
time flies i tell ya..

btw have i mentioned that my friends are superbly
sweet. they never fail to cheer me on and encourage

were probably the reason why i kept on going even
though i've been through so much disappointment.

october 2010 ended on a good note for me.
for the first time in 7 months i exceed my 100%
for my sales. handling a target of $17,000 in
15 days is no mean feat,but im glad i did it (:

i had a great day today with great laughs
despite sales being completely trashy.

funny how some days sales is just 300-400
and one some days 1700-1800. arghs.

im so glad its another 2 more shifts
and then school's gonna start,and at least
i get to see my lovely pharmers everyday.

im convinced next week is going to be a good

it really did instill that sense
of belonging in everyone i guess!

it's really heart warming to see everyone
starting to open up and getting to know
each other better as a team.

got to watch a horror movie/nightwalk/amazing race/
played water games/bonding games mainly games that
improved teamwork. it was awesome!

i have a long day ahead of me.
tomorrow is yet another long day.

the only good thing about long days
is that i need to wakeup at 8am which
means that i'd be taking all three meals
if not two.

if i wakeup in the afternoon with pretty
much nothing on i'd wakeup so late its
almost dinner time i'd just have one meal
for that day.

this is probably why i dont ever gain weight.
FML man.

8more shifts until school reopens come on i can
do this.

i dont do things for the sake of doing things.
i want my efforts to yields results.
because whatever i do i give it my best.

even though i have one day of rest
in between the 3 days i still feel super

ME HAD AN AWESOME FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

met the girls for buffet at sakae sushi and
walked and chilled around town before
heading to my place for stayover :D
caught up alot and all,the usual things

to have a super cool mini feast before
going shopping around ikea.

science students are generally not lazy
not because we are all nerds but because
if you want to be lazy,you want to play
and if you dont put in consistent effort you
will never be able to make it through the
education system.

im prepared my results are like going to be at the
bottom few in class because i havent been studying
hard.almost everyone started studying right from
the start of the semester. dawn tan me only started
studying properly 2 weeks before start of the exams.

at all still give me C+ mega wtf. i hope karma hits you.

this is probably my wakeup call. i know probably have
to start studying triply hard next semester.im going
to turn on my nerd mode la. damn it. cannot continue
being like that. im not satisfied w a GPA like that.

to be honest im alrd starting to wonder how im going
to cope my jobs and my studies as well as my
play time with my friends. but you know what? i refuse
to give up any one of these. if it's going to take so much

A 98 year-old german woman named Irena Sendler recently died. During WWII, Irena worked in the warsaw ghetto as a plumbing/sewer specialist. Irena smuggled jewish children out; infants in the bottom of the tool box she carried and older children in a burlap sack she carried in the back of her truck. She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers wanted nothing to do with the dog, and the barking covered the kids’ and infants’ noises. Irena managed to smuggle out and save 2500 children. She eventually was caught, and the Nazis broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar buried under a tree in her backyard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived and reunited some of the families. Most had been killed. i've been bounded so bounded with work
recently i havent had much time to do
anything.ystd i finally got to sleep
after going 37hours without sleep of
which 14hours was spent working.

but im glad the toughest times are over
cause today and tmrw and two days
next week are my so called free days.
so like yes! i can finally relax.

i cannot wait for my pay day man! 3more days!

anw the other day i went out with bee but i

just like how i was confused and slightly
lost and there was a blunder in the roster
and just nice they placed another part-timer
lets call her "A" to work with me.

"A" enlightened me in alot of things because
there was so many things i could relate to

BONJOUR!

I've been working every single day
after my exams.shall look forward
to wednesday where it'd finally
get a day off. In a way im thankful
i decided to postpone wed's workload
to thurs instead. Otherwise,it'd be
15 days of work straight.

Halfway through work my temperature
elevated,a splitting headache accompanied
my fever, I had double visions i couldnt see properly.
I had to tolerate that shit for a good three hours
before it was time to knock off.

I really cannot comprehend why my immunity fails
me every single time i have a "blood donation drive"
it's like a double combo GRRRR :(

im sorry for the lack of updates.
right after exams i've started working
and my schedule's way too hectic.
my entire september only has 2 days
where i have completely nothing on.

it's not like my family's finances are dire.

my cramps have been killing me everyday
for the past couple of days and i've been
so tired. i dint know endometrial sloughing

both papers i have taken so far were significantly
tougher than the previous years paper. i'd like to
ask my lecturers what do they want to achieve from
this?

sounds damn rude but really you dont know how
it is to slog and toil through the nights just to
study and then the paper crushes your every single
hope of doing well. it's relentless

and then because i try till the very last minute
by the end of every paper i get mindfucked and
thoroughly drained and WOW,next day
there's another paper.the same routine kicks in the
moment you finish the paper.go home study again.

i sincerely hope tmrw's aps paper would be of
manageable standards.

the only reason why im feeling so wonky about this
whole thing is cause i studied like a dog this exam.
i've never went on such hardcore mug mode before

im so thankful to have found my friends even though i
met some of my friends in the most peculiar ways.

felt so demoralised after IPC paper today.studied
so hard for it and i did all i possibly could but
i got slapped in the face with a possibility of a
C grade. GRRRR.

but its ok.i shall pull my grades up with my other subjects.
this shall be yet another source of determination for me
to study even harder.actually since i've alrd studied so hard
i might as well study harder and get over and done with it ._.

i think i should seriously start studying hard when the next
sem starts.i really need to pull my horrendous grades up D:

i've been so caught up with work recently.
im extremely dismayed with myself i choose
to believe what the full-timers told me.
this month's sales wouldnt be as good because
of the lunar 7th month.but aside from that i know
that probably under performing and that sucks.

found this picture and i found it quite true.
friendships do work like seesaws as well :)

this is true once again so to all the girls out there,
stay cheerful yea! keep smiling because you'd never
know who's falling in love with your smile :)

im not going to let trival things like that bother me

everything that has happened in my life
happens for a reason.but im glad it happened
because it would be a lesson i learned
being negative and cynical is not going to

I have a tons of reasons why i shoud be unhappy.
But i wont be.

Today is going to be the last day i allow myself

I am a flower, i am growing and waiting to bloom. Im not
sure if i'll survive this cold harsh world. I can just wilt and
die but i'd assure you that im going to try my hardest to

went to view tumblr and i think the picture
below is quite funny LOL. and i think its true!

angela baby is so pretty ! but i think she undergone
plastic surgery.

was on the phone with dengyi again.we always chat for hours and hours
and hours and hours.but im really glad to have her as a friend.we're
so similar and our actions are quite funny it cracks me up.

the other day at marina bay mrt station,we were stuck in this temporary
toilet.both of us stayed extremely calm and started kicking the toilet door
until it opened. and upon leaving the toilet.we saw this stunned
construction worker staring at us. lol 2 violent girls.

i really hate it when my mind wanders.nothing good ever comes out of it.

my mind went on a tour about an hour ago.
my subconsciousness got the better of me.
i was this close to losing myself when my
phone vibrated. "1 new message"

my mind snapped out of its nonsensical state
as i proceeded to read and reply the message
you may say that this is just coincidental but
i think this is another part of god's plan to tell me
that it isnt the best time now to even feel this way.

the way the whole world tries everything in its power to break me
the way i'd refuse, under any circumstances, to show the slightest crack.

and i will keep it this way for as long as i possibly can

07-08-2010 {tanning turned singing date}

original plan was to go tanning but the weather
was being quite cheeky.it was neither rainy nor
sunny.at least it wasnt sunny enough for me to
get a nice tan so might's well just not go tanning.

slacked for a good 2hours before finally deciding
to head to kbox.both of us were literally freezing
in there cause we were in tanks and shorts.

kbox > trimmed brows > L4D2

awhile ago,someone told me that i wasn't
living up to this phrase as much as i've always
said i lived by this phrase.

today i look back on the past week and i think
i've done so.im proud of myself,i've put in so
much effort in the presentations and studies
this break is well deserved.

im going to start seizing every day from now.
it's sad to see 24hours go to waste like that.

on a side note,im extremely glad that my sense
of direction is way better than before now because
i can actually direct people around.bumble,are you
proud of me? HEHE :D

today was officially the last day of presentations and tests.
i am finally a free bird for the time being.this feeling
is awesome,it is like none other.

so today,10 of us pharmies had lunch together,went
for an hour of pool session,caught inception and
then headed to astons for dinner.their company is
the ultimate (Y)

it's my second time watching inception and this time
i could fully enjoy all the humour instead of focusing
on the plot.worth watching a second time :D

i know my life is pretty mundane since
school's been so hectic recently.

i know i've been seeing the same few faces
during weekdays and then that one or two
faces during the weekends.

but im truly happy to have such a simple
life because these are the people who make
that effort to put that smile up on my face.

they are the ones who asks if im ok,give me hugs.
tell me not to give up,share my joy,hear my whines,
feel my pain as well as to go through it all with me.

i cannot ask for more. but really dearest friends,i love you guys.
i dont mind being a nerd,really.for the sake of a better future.

shocking as it may sound,im going to write mom and dad a
card to tell them i love them.its been years since i last wrote
them cards.first off,i dont really write cards or messages or
even notes to my parents,telling them that i love them is
quite a milestone.i know i fail as a daughter but at the very
least im willing to put in the effort to try.

went to town to catch The Crazies with dengyi,jasmine,

that show's quite shocking but i think it's quite hilarious
cus of the comments we made. LOL.

funny thing cus all of us were in formal,not with the blazer
though.we were in shirts and skirts and pants and then
the movie was NC16 but they dint even request to check our ICs.
